Trail Acc was founded in 2014 by four friends Deon, Hennie, Colin, and Gideon, determined to give service excellence to the public that were long overdue to the light commercial trailer spares industry.

Sadly, in February 2016 Gideon left the business to pursue other ventures. After establishing Trail Acc as the leading retailer of light commercial trailer spares and accessories in South Africa, Sidney bought into the company and was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Trail Acc Group in September 2020. The decision was made to diversify the business into a section where we can also set ourselves the leaders in service and product excellence, and SA Camp Camping and Caravan Spares & Accessories division were established February 2022 in the Trail Acc Group. With all four directors having a passion for camping and outdoors, this sector was an easy and obvious choice.

SA Camp will be a section in both our current Trail Acc branches, Silverton and Roodepoort and will be implemented in each branch in the country as we expand to other parts of South Africa.

Our main purpose for SA Camp is our online store, where consumers can shop for their favourite accessories or spares in the comfort of their home or any other way possible. Our specialized linked courier company add the value of delivering your goods to your needed address with knowing it is being handled with care. Collection in either branch can also be selected at the checkout point on the online store/ website.
